Follow this guide to get the most out of your Atlas Grazing Trial and take advantage of the new grazing management tool.
Its best to complete Account Registration for Atlas Grazing, and draw your digital map on a desktop computer.
Once you've created your Property Map, download, install and login to the mobile app to take your data on-the-go.

Following submission of your Expression of Interest, you will receive an email with login credentials. Use this to log into the platform for the first time and reset your password.Creating your
User Profile, Company, and Property is the first step to configuring you account.
1. From the Atlas Grazing Login Page

2. Input your email into the "Email address" field

3. Input your temporary password into the "Password" field

4. Select "Log In"

5. Start creating your Atlas Grazing profile by providing your "First" and "Last Name"

6. Create your new "Password"

7. Select "Continue"

8. Create your "Company name"

9. Input your physical address into the "Company Address" field or manually search for your address.

10. Confirm your address details are correct before selecting "Continue"

11. Provide your "Property name"

12. Confirm your visual address is correct (or adjust accordingly) before selecting "Continue"

13. When your property Dashboard loads, you will see your Property Geo-Pin on the Map. This confirms you have successfully set up your Atlas Grazing account.

Manage your livestock inventory through streamlined classifications that will improve reporting and support future integrations.Configuring your Livestock Classes will support the creation of stock groups and support the calculation of their animal ratings, used to quantify feed demand across species, size and state.
DSE or LSU? Sheep, Cattle, or something else? Configure your stock classes and units to match your what you use day to day. These units are used throughout the platform to consistently describe Feed Inventory, Animal Ratings and Area.
1. From the Home Dashboard Select the "Settings" icon

2. Select "Unit Settings"

3. Select "Measurements"

4. Select your preferred unit of measurement

5. Next select "Animal Rating"

Reminder: Animal Rating is a way of standardising volume of feed across animals of different classes, size and species. Generally - Cattle producers will adopt LSU, whilst Sheep producers will use DSE. What you use isn’t overly important, as long as you are comfortable with it.
6. Select your preferred unit for animal rating.

7. Next select "Feed Inventory"

8. Select your preferred unit for Feed measurement

9. Select "Stock Classes"

10. Select the stock class of animal you wish to configure

11. Toggle "on" or "off" the automatic stock class calculator

Create your own personal interactive Farm map to make its' easy to build context on where your mobs are located, how large a paddock is, and help provide context on the landscape you're managing.
From you Paddock list you can easily track graze yield metrics and understand what land is currently actively grazing or in recovery.
Tip: Due to the nature of Digital Mapping, drawing paddock boundaries is only available on the Web application.
1. From the Home Dashboard Select "Add new"

4. Select "Stock Yard" or "Paddock"
Note: A Paddock is a grazable area where we track active graze metrics of the livestock in it. Stock Yards, are a holding area, and do not accrue graze metrics.

5. Give your Stockyard or Paddock a name

6. Select "Save"

1. Select "Draw boundary"

2. Click on the "Map" to set your boundary starting point

3. Move the mouse to the next boundary corner on the Map and "click" to mark the point

4. Repeat this process as many times as required to mark all boundary points

5. Double-click when marking the final boundary point

6. Select "Finish drawing" to complete the creation of your Stockyard or Paddock

Recording Feed estimates helps you to quantify your natural feed inventory and improves graze planning. Combined with reported Yield Metrics, regularly recording feed estimates prior and post Graze, enables you to develop this valuable skill giving you control of your graze operations.

4. Record the "Date" of the observation

5. Select the "Paddock" the observation is made in

6. Record the "Feed estimate"

7. Select "Save" to complete the feed estimation

Record natural increase of livestock headcount from a birth record.
Note: When to create a birth record is a personal preference. Given the Mothers rating includes feed demand from the offspring, headcount recognition is not required for graze yields until weaning. Producers may choose to recognise headcount at either birth, weaning or branding (marking).

5. Create a stock group to recognise the new headcount.
Tip: Use a naming convention that will make sense to you, eg: 2025 August bred Lambs

9. Select "Done"

10. Select "Type"

11. Record the Animals "Objective","Species", "Class" and "Breed"

12. Select"Done"

13. Select "Weight"

14. Record the animals "Birth weight"

15. Set the animals "Target Weight" and the desired "Daily Gain".
The daily gain can be an estimate, and contributes to the Animal Rating.

16. Select "Done"

17. Select "Mob"

18. Add the animal to an "Exisiting mob" or select "Create New Mob"

19. If adding the animal to an "existing mob" select from the mobs available

20. If creating a new mob for the animal select "Create New Mob"

21. Create the new "Mob name"

22. Select the paddock location of the new mob

23. Click "Done"

24. If there are multiple groups of births you are wishing to record, “Add another birth record”. This is useful if you are tracking different breeds or stock lines.
When all birthed Stock groups are created, select "Record births" to complete the birth record, and create the new stock groups.

Increase Livestock Headcount through a purchase record , capturing key information such as the Origin.
1. From the Home Dashboard Select "Add new"

2. Select "Livestock"

3. Select "Purchase record"

4. Record the animal "Purchase date"

5. Optionally record the "Total purchase price" and/or include the invoice

6. Select "Done"

7. Select "Head count"

8. Record the number of livestock purchased

9. Select "Done"

10. Select "Type"

11. Record the Animals "Objective","Species", "Class" and "Breed"

12. Select "Done"

13. Select "Livestock details"

14. Record the arrival date of the purchased livestock

15. Create a stock group name
Tip: Use a naming convention that will make sense to you, eg: 2025 August Emerald Angus Steers

16. Optionally Add a colour tag to the Stock group

17. Select "Done"

18. Select "Weight"

19. Set the animals “Arrival weight” and "Target weight" and the desired "daily gain" The daily gain can be an estimate, and contributes to the Animal Rating.

20. Select "Done"

21. Select "Add Mob"

22. Add the animal to an "Existing mob" or select "Create New Mob"

23. If adding the animal to an "existing mob" select from the mobs available

24.Select the Mob you wish to add the livestock into.

25. If creating a new mob for the animal select "Create New Mob"

26. Create the new "Mob name"

27. Select the paddock location of the new mob

28. Select the Paddock the Mob will be located in.

29. Add a mob colour if applicable

30. Select "Done"

31.Where there are multiple stock groups being purchased, you may add additional Stock Groups to the Same purchase record. An example of this could be an invoice for both steers and heifers.
When satisfied with the Stock Groups, Select "Add livestock" to complete the purchase record

3. Select "Death record"

4. Record the "Death Date" of the livestock

5. Record the "Removal Date" of the livestock

6. Select the "Stock Group" that you want the livestock removed from

7. Select from available stock groups

8. Record the number of livestock deaths

9. Select "Next"

10. Review the death record before selecting "Confirm death" to complete

1. From the Home Dashboard Select "Add new"

2. Select "Livestock"

3. Select "Sale record"

4. Record the "Sale Date" of the livestock.

5. Record the "Removal Date" of the livestock.
The removal date is the date at which the demand will be removed from the property. Use this to record when animals are transported.

6. Select the "Stock Group" that you want the livestock sale removed from

7. Select from available stock groups

8. Select "Add"

9. Select either "Price per head" or "Price per kg" based on the type of sale.

You can choose to either record the animal sale in "price per head" or "price per kilogram"
10. Record the number of livestock and unit price

11. Select "Next"

12. Review the sale record before selecting "Confirm sale" to complete

2. From the mob details Select "Add New Record"

3. Select "Mob move"

The Animal Rating will automatically be updated based on your data. Warning: If you override the calculation, the system cannot forecast the animal's growth moving forward.
